The Ultimate Glider also features a patent-pending, sash removal system to make cleaning easy. You won’t need any special tools or have to remove other window components to remove the operating sash.

Marvin OXXO Glider Window

Marvin introduces the OXXO Glider for a stunning variation on the clean, contemporary look of horizontal sliding windows. Fixed glazed sash on either side of the unit frame the two center panels, which slide to each side for an unobstructed opening. The OXXO glider can span wider than 14′. Window height can be specified as large as 6′. Unit dimensions are based on width–to–height ratios. Talk to your Marvin dealer about available sizes.

Marvin’s Ultimate Double Hung combines state-of-the-art window design with classic style. Advanced engineering and the highest quality construction make our Ultimate Double Hung windows incredibly durable, versatile and easy to use.

Exclusive integrated tilt lever lock allows sash to be tilted in or removed for effortless cleaning
Configurations can include single hung windows or both sash stationary.
Structural, certified factory mulls are available: Frame to Frame, 1″ or 2″ LVL, and 3/8″ MRF
Uneven sills or headers can be specified

Marvin Ultimate Double Hung Round Top Window

Our Ultimate Double Hung Round Top windows feature a half round or an elliptical upper sash. Choose from the following variations:

Standard double hung window with a half round or elliptical transom. Available as a wood or clad-wood window.

Double hung window with a true radius upper sash and frame. Both the interior and exterior have a radius top. Available as a wood or clad-wood window.

Standard double hung window on the interior with arched exterior casing. This variation is the most economical method of achieving a round top appearance. Available as a wood window.

Double hung window with eyebrow radius upper sash and frame. Both interior and exterior have a radius top. Available as a wood or clad-wood window.

Standard double hung with a rectangular sash and radius glass designed to have a round top appearance. Available as a wood window.

WINDOW OPENING CONTROL DEVICE
Crank-out Ultimate Casements have a new window opening control device option. This device limits window openings to 4” or less when engaged and can be disengaged for maximum opening. It automatically reengages when window is closed.

The Clad Ultimate Insert Double Hung has a new option for replacement window projects. Now, Marvin also offers a 14° Frame Bevel for tighter fit and clean appearance. Choose between a flat, 8°, or 14° Frame Bevel based on the angle of your existing window frame.
GREATER ENERGY EFFICIENCY. TRIPANE WITH KRYPTON.
This new option adds the remarkable insulating properties of Krypton to the proven performance of Tripane construction. Krypton gas boosts thermal performance about 0.03 beyond the already impressive U-factors of Tripane with Argon.
GRILLE DESIGN FLEXIBILITY. TWO TONE COLOR OPTION.

RETRACTABLE SCREEN
When a screen is needed, simply glide the retractable screen across the window. For wide open views, the Retractable Screen effortlessly integrates into the window and is virtually undetectable. Available for new or existing cranking Ultimate Casement and Awning windows.
ULTIMATE VENTING PICTURE WINDOW
Innovative design frames an unobstructed view of a picture window now with the comfort of ventilation. An ingenious mesh screen system allows the open sash to project out about 3/4” from the closed position, providing air flow around windows as large as 6’x 6’ or 3’ x 8’.
DESIGN FLEXIBILITY WITH ALL WOOD ULTIMATE GLIDER
The clean lines and unique features of Marvin’s Ultimate Glider, like the automatic locking system, differentiate it from other sliding windows. The integrated sash removal system makes the Ultimate Glider easy to clean. Since the Ultimate Glider won’t protrude to the outside when it’s open, it makes it ideal for areas with limited space like decks or walkways. Glazing options meet ENERGY STAR criteria to reduce heating and cooling costs, and it’s the only all wood or clad wood glider to meet a LC50 light commercial rating for air, water and structural performance.
